Robert Cohen is an Emmy-winning writer and director with decades of finding the funny in people. Originally from the mildly-amusing Canada, Rob has directed more than 150 episodes of television, including Somebody Somewhere, Lady Dynamite, Black-ish, and The Muppets. His writing credits include The Ben Stiller Show, Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons, where he also became the visual inspiration for Milhouse. (still waiting for those checks)

His commercial work spans Amazon, the NFL, Ziploc, Ford, HBO, and he has done studio campaigns for Anchorman 2, Tropic Thunder, Iron Man 2, and the Austin Powers and Shrek franchises. His feature documentary, Being Canadian, has been added to the Academy of Motion Pictures Library.

Across television, film and branded work, Rob brings a writers instinct for story and character, and a director's feel for performance and visuals, whether the moment calls for something quietly human, or completely ridiculous.
